INGREDIENTS:
• 2 cups artichoke hearts, drained
• 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
• 1 cup whipped egg
• 1 cup seasoned flour * (prepare ahead of time)
• ¼ cup parmesan, grated
*Example of seasoned flour (prepare ahead of time)
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 tablespoon salt
• ½ tablespoon seasoning salt
• ½ tablespoon celery salt
• ½ tablespoon pepper
• 1 tablespoon dry mustard
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 1 tablespoon garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon onion powder
• ½ teaspoon ginger
• ¼ teaspoon thyme
• ¼ teaspoon basil
• ¼ teaspoon oregano
Si all ingredients together to blend evenly.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Dredge artichokes in flour, then whipped egg, then Panko
2. Lightly fry in extra virgin olive oil until deep golden brown.
Remove to paper towels to drain excess oil.
3. Place on a serving plate and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese.
