Elmira Stove Works has announced that its Heritage and Northstar lines are
both available in Viva Magenta as a custom color option.
For more than 20 years, Pantone has selected the color of the year using trend
analysis across multiple areas, including entertainment, travel and fashion.
Pantone calls Viva Magenta the color of the current cultural moment because it's
bold, inclusive and empowering.
Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color
Institute, commented on the significance of this year's
color, "Viva Magenta 18-1750, vibrates with vim
and vigor. It is a shade rooted in nature,
descending from the red family and
expressive of a new signal of strength.
Viva Magenta is a fearless, pulsating
color whose exuberance promotes a
joyous and optimistic celebration,
writing a new narrative."
An animated shade of red, Viva
Magenta inspires limitless self-
expression and experimentation.
The welcoming hue is perfect for
those who love a bold and audacious
color full of personality.
"Color remains a great form of
expression in interior design," said
Tony Dowling, vice-president of sales
and marketing at Elmira Stove Works. "It
can completely change the look of a space,
bringing a whole new perspective. Custom-
colored vintage appliances push creative boundaries
in the kitchen, taking center stage while also bringing
character and a pop of color to the home."
Designers and consumers can build a Heritage or Northstar kitchen via the
"Create Your Dream Kitchen" tools on the company's website. Additionally,
designers can access Elmira on the 2020 Design Cloud's 3D CAD catalog,
where they can select Elmira appliances in any model or color and produce
detailed 3D renderings and panoramas.
Offered in a broad spectrum of colors, the Heritage and Northstar lines can be
customized in more than 1,200 hues – including Viva Magenta – to create the
perfect style statement.
