The unique, games-based play program and modifi ed learning equipment make it easier for kids to hit the ball and experience early success. Putting, chipping, pitching and full swing, are all taught through games, simple repetitive motions and learning rhymes that make it easy for young kids to remember and repeat. Track and fi eld events include javelin, discus, shot put, hurdles, long jump, triple jump and various running and relay events (activities may vary by area). Participants should bring a water bottle, two snacks, sunscreen (outdoor camps) and wear appropriate athletic attire. Every child receives an award certifi cate and Skyhawks t-shirt. Each participant will learn cheers, proper hand/body movements and jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as teamwork and leadership. The program concludes with a fi nal cheer performance. LOC: PVCC Gym MIN/MAX: 8/20 FEE: R $149/NR $186 CODE DAY DATE TIME 321706-01 M-F 7/10-7/14 9:00 am-12:00 pm SOCCER MADE IN AMERICA TRAINING CAMP Ages 4-14 Our 1/2-day camp provides professional soccer training covering technical and tactical training for 5 days. The program emphasizes psychological dimensions such as motivation, confi dence, leadership, and game smarts. Each participant will receive a camp t-shirt and camp will include an awards ceremony on Friday, June 30. Participants need to wear shin guards and being a soccer ball and water bottle.
