RETAILOBSERVER.COM APRIL 2023 24 NEW AND NOTEWORTHY INTRODUCTIONS FROM THE BRAND INCLUDE: Carbonio, A New Finish with Gravitas — Bertazzoni's Professional Series has long been celebrated for its bright colors and high-gloss luxury automotive surfaces. Putting an unexpected twist on its marquee line, Bertazzoni is introducing a new look to the series: Carbonio, a matte graphite-shaded finish that conveys confidence and strength. This sleek new finish entirely wraps the range, with a conscious absence of exposed stainless surfaces for seamless style, and pairs with a color-coordinated range hood. What's more, the iconic knobs of the series are presented in titanium finishes, yielding a new, wow-worthy look for the contemporary focal point in the kitchen. "There's something undeniably elevated about a matte surface. The way it catches the light invites you to a unique tactile experience and altogether different presence," added Nicola Bertazzoni. "With Carbonio, we're pleased to reinterpret one of our best-sellers in a way that blends the clean, architectural lines and timeless contours of the Professional Series with the powerful statement of the Carbonio finish." Previewed at KBIS, Carbonio will launch for purchase later this year. The finish will be available on 30", 36", and 48" induction ranges paired with matching range hoods. A NEW PARADIGM OF SUSTAINABILITY AND STYLE For many, there's an idea that a product that is highly sustainable compromises aesthetics, and vice versa. Leaning into its European sensibilities, Bertazzoni is on a quest to prove that the equation is not a zero-sum game: today's homeowners can have a complete kitchen appliance suite that is energy efficient, user friendly, and remarkably stylish. The new product from Bertazzoni that exemplifies this point of view is the award-winning 36" XT induction downdraft cooktop which has already received recognition as a 2022 Good Design Award recipient from the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. This new appliance paradigm is designed with precision touch controls and digitally timed induction technology to manage the cooking process efficiently. The groundbreaking new form factor offers seamless style with its integrated down-draft ventilation module – providing the freedom to position anywhere in the kitchen counter, while supporting large double-stacked drawers underneath and space for storage overhead. The new cooktop features 10 settings for induction zones plus a booster function and four downdraft speeds. With sensors that automatically detect the size of the cookware and adjust the heated area to fit their footprint, this introduction offers an intuitive, user-friendly experience, while the flat surface area allows easy clean-up. The induction cooktop MSRP is $5,199. Further to the induction cooktop, Bertazzoni is also launching a new 48" induction range that is available in all three of the brand's series: Professional, Master, and Heritage. A first-of-its-kind from Bertazzoni, the range features one continuous cooking surface, offering a look that is both stylish and easy to clean. The range also features an induction cooking-compatible griddle, another "first" from the Italian brand. In terms of electricity, the range is rated for 50 "amps," which refers to a high-amperage circuit, using the same hookup as a conventional electric range. Bertazzoni is now offering the largest number of induction solutions in its class. Nicola Bertazzoni continued, "2023 sets a new record across the entire product category portfolio." NEW DISHWASHERS OFFER GREATER OPTIONS Bertazzoni is pleased to introduce new dishwashers to its portfolio across its Professional, Master and Heritage Series. The products are available in two new sizes (24" and 18"), and two alternative tub I N D U S T R Y [ N E W S ]
