Smoke Show. is event raised money to help local military
veterans and their families.
"It was a combined event between the local barbequing
competition world, Missouri River Brewing, and Impact
Montana, a nonprofit that helps support Montana veterans,"
Adam explained.
e East Helena Smoke Show is one of only four competitions
sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society, a Missouri-based
competitive cooking organization that administered the rules,
provided qualified judges, and assisted in marketing the event.
e Grand Champion, Arizona-based Rhythm 'n QUE, took
home grand champion honors and is eligible for the American
Royal and Jack Daniels Invitational draw in October. e teams
competed for over $6,000 in cash prizes.
