Drug Delivery to the Lungs (DDL) 2023 will be presented live at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), and virtually, on Wednesday through Friday, December 6-8, 2023. Now in its 34th year, DDL will feature podium presentations, posters, an exhibition and networking opportunities. The Annual Lecture will be presented by Daniela Traini, professor in respiratory science at Macquarie University and The Woolcock Institute of Medical Research (Australia). Short-listed applicants will deliver a live presentation at DDL2023 and the winner will be announced during the conference. • DDL Emerging Scientist Award. e winner will have demonstrated significant scien- tific accomplishment or inno- vation during the early stages of their career in inhalation science (within 15 years from achieving their PhD). e win- ner will be announced and give a keynote presentation. • DDL Career Development Grant to support new and emerging scientists from pub- lic, private and university organizations. • New Researcher Network (NRN), which aims to develop a broad community of early career scientists, including PhD students, and will host an event during the conference.
