Meet Mila Breed: Purebred mutt Age: 4 years old Sex: Female Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL Mila likes long walks, belly rubs, and snuggling under the covers. When Mila met her new family at the shelter about a year ago, she seemed slightly scared but very friendly. Once home, Mila started showing signs of fear, anxiety, and stress—even becoming unpredictably aggressive with family members she otherwise enjoyed being around. Along with implementing behavioral therapy, Mila's veterinarian prescribed an SSRI*, and Gabapentin FlexTabs. The veterinarian prescribed Gabapentin FlexTabs because they are easy for Mila's owner to break accurately, allowing Mila's dose to be personalized according to her needs on any given day. Mila takes 50 mg of Gabapentin twice a day under normal conditions, but the dose can be increased up to 150 mg as necessary based on stressful situations that arise. Gabapentin 1/3 FlexTab Mila's normal twice a day dose Gabapentin 1/2 FlexTab Mila's dose for separation anxiety Gabapentin Full FlexTab Mila's dose when there are fireworks Gabapentin 2/3 FlexTab Mila's dose when the cable guy is coming over © 2023 Covetrus, Inc.
