Elevated Concept
Yaron Goldman, CEO of Rib and Chop House and e Finally
Group, describes the latest restaurant as a flagship for the company.
"Our team really came up with a wonderful design that is an elevated
look for our brand in general, but it is also still very inviting," Goldman
says. "People can feel comfortable enough to be casual and to bring
the whole family."
e space features soaring 18-foot ceilings and a border of massive
windows. Sections of marble wainscoting that once lined the lower
four feet of the building's hallways have been repurposed for the
bar area.
"We kept the original ceiling that Wells Fargo had covered up,"
Blumfield explains. "It is very ornate and a bit beat up, but we liked
that distressed look."
ey painted the ceiling black, added three-quarter walls with screens
to break up the cavernous space, and used brick and black wainscoing
to further sharpen the elevated design concept.
"We layered in lighting and installed big chandeliers and wall sconces
with dropdowns over the tables and booths," Blumfield says.
By the time they wrapped up, the elegant 175-seat dining area was
prepped to welcome the restaurant's first eager patrons in style.
Seared to perfection and served sizzling-hot.
