BEST OF THE WEST ART SHOW
National Parks, where the untamed beauty of nature fuels her artistic fervor. It was
amidst these vast wildernesses that she found the muse for her latest masterpieces: the
wolf and mountain goat paintings. ese pieces, imbued with the raw essence and spirit
of the American West, are the highlights of her collection for this year's esteemed Best
of the West Show.
For Branting, participating in the event transcends mere art exhibition; it's
fundamentally about building connections. "I just love meeting the people. Any artist
loves to talk art, so it's nice to have a captive audience, and I love to hear everyone's
story when they look at my paintings," she explains. While Branting's work captures the
interplay of natural light and shadow, highlighting the majestic beauty of her subjects,
the Best of the West Show also showcases artists with distinctly different approaches,
such as Cyrus Walker. His technique and artistic philosophy offer a stark contrast to
Branting's, illustrating the diverse range of talent and perspectives at the event.
