most fun of anything we do. ese days,
we have a family launch with assorted
grandchildren, one of whom is becoming
quite the modeler in his own right. Where
we launch, there is plenty of room for low
power, and I love to see a small family
there, just starting with a little launch pad
and one rocket, sending up that first rocket
with the youngest pushing the button. Even
with just the family on the launch, there are
safety rules that need to be followed, but
there's no better place for kids to learn. If
you have daughters, especially, what bet-
ter role model can there be but a modeling

e above-mentioned concerns about
small kids, and busy older kids, did limit
my own involvement in years gone by. I
understand. Now that we're both retired,
there's much more of an opportunity to go
together and share the fun.
