All of his life, Pastor José Villanueva has focused on establishing the principles of the kingdom of God on Earth and
promoting biblical government designs for the nations. And he believes Capitol Ministries' mission fits well with
those objectives.
"People who are in eminence, whether at the national or local level, need to have a biblical worldview," Pastor José said.
"ey need the principles of the Word for their personal and family life, but also in their government work—their po-
litical and their leadership work. at is why Capitol Ministries' Bible studies are so important." Pastor José is a former
Parliamentarian and is well respected, esteemed, and well known in both the faith and political communities. As our
ministry leader to national leaders in Colombia, he is teaching a weekly Bible study to Parliamentarians. He will also
work to establish ministries in Colombia's 32 state capitols. Pastor José and his teammate wife, Clara, were commis-
sioned to begin the Bible study in 2022, but circumstances delayed the launch until November 18, 2023. e launch
was celebrated with an elegant kick-off event attended by 100 distinguished guests, many of whom are considered the
influencers of the Evangelical movement in Colombia which is experiencing great momentum.
