I and other team members taught existing and newly recruited ministry leaders the Capitol Ministries time tested and honed techniques on how to establish, lead, and sustain discipleship Bible-study based ministries to political leaders. is training is essential for successful ministries. e event was blessed. Aer reading (as a prerequisite) All in Authority: Reigniting the Bible's Top-Down Missions Strateg y, my book that explains the biblical priority to reach political leaders with God's Word, the men were passionate to minister to this mostly forgotten affinity sphere. ey were apt students, eager, attentive, and desir- ous to participate in discussions and the question-and-answer sessions. eir insight- ful inquiries kept us all on the ball! Also participating were many U.S. senators and representatives who are involved in our D.C. ministry. ere were so many precious moments during the week-long gathering but what Danielle and I came away with was a sense of awe at the men that God has brought and is continuing to bring into His ministry. Highly accomplished, yes, and well-educated, some with management degrees, and many with seminary degrees. While those successes are important, even more important is that they are men of God. Bible-believing, Bible-reliant, strong in the Word, strong in their faith, and absolutely dedicated to evangelizing lost public servants, teaching the Bible to them, and leading them to maturity in the faith. ese men are burning to share the Gospel. In addition to our worldwide D.C. conference in December, earlier in the fall we traveled to Kathmandu, Nepal, where we met Pastor Kumar Singh Praja who we commissioned as our Asia global director. He also serves as ministry leader to Parliamentarians in the Federal Parliament of Nepal. Pastor Kumar and his wife Seema have a son and a daughter and have adopted 14 children from a nearby village. from the president Dear friends,
