In the grand tapestry of Western heritage, there's a thread that binds
generations, cultures, and landscapes together: art. For 44 years, the
Footprints on the Trail Art Show, hosted by the Western Heritage Artists
Association, has celebrated this connection, transforming the newly
renovated Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center into a vibrant hub
of creativity and camaraderie.
A Legacy of Art and Volunteerism "is show has been built on
dedication," says the association's secretary, Shelley McClellan. e
founders ensured a solid foundation from its inception by establishing
an all-volunteer board. "We all volunteer our time and different areas of
expertise," McClellan explains. It's this selfless spirit that has allowed the
show to thrive and reach this impressive milestone.
