Tranquillo Sanctuario — The design challeng-
es for this project included incorporating a floating
quartz vanity with hidden storage for toilet paper
and linens, and integrating a hidden storage
cabinet in a wall of teak slats.
Design Elements:
• The sleek 12" floating vanity aligns with the
husband's contemporary aesthetic while
offering a seamless uncluttered look.
• The warm teak appeals to the wife's aesthetic
and offers functional concealed storage. The
vertical slats cater to his modern tastes.
• The custom mirror appears to float off the wall
due to the LED backlighting that enhances its
modern appeal with a minimalist design. The
floor-to-ceiling installation and strategically
placed lighting create the illusion of a larger
space.
• The shimmering glaze of smokey-blue tiles
adds depth and elegance, reflecting the wife's
favorite color.
• The intricate mosaic tile, reminiscent of woven
textiles, gives the space a playful artistic
touch and further celebrates the wife's love for
blue.
• Aged brass pendants introduce a warm
metallic element and provide soft ambient
lighting. The light control switch allows
brighter LED recessed lighting or the intimate
pendant lighting.
• By thoughtfully combining contemporary and
organic elements, we created a powder
bathroom that is functional and visually
captivating, reflecting our clients' tastes.
