FIRST PLACE / PRIMARY BATH
Tranquillo Sanctuario — One of the design
challenges was to balance contrasting aesthetics:
• "His" Aesthetic: Bold, modern, with symmetry
and bold contrasts.
• "Her" Aesthetic: Neutral, organic, Bohemian,
seeking warmth and coziness.
We integrated his preference for abundant natural
light with her need for privacy and warmth, with a spa-
like atmosphere. We installed switchable privacy
film on the windows that turns opaque at the flip of
a switch.
While maintaining overall symmetry, we strategically
adjusted design elements to accommodate essential
features. The vanities were sized to appear symmetrical
while allowing for necessary variations. The makeup
vanity was integrated with a concealed refrigerator
drawer and connected at desk height, creating a focal
point without disrupting the flow. The LED-lit mirror
serves a dual purpose by enhancing functionality
while defining the separate yet connected space.
Key Features:
• Lutron OS system offers him control and conve-
nience, while traditional switches were integrated
for her, for simplicity and ease.
• Honed marble and fabric-effect ceramic tiles for
warmth and elegance. Dimmable recessed lights
and LED rope lighting details for functionality and
ambiance.
• Freestanding tub with rain shower and body sprays
equipped with Kohler digital interfaces enhance the
spa-like experience.
• Ample linen storage.
• Toto bidet in separate toilet room.
• Satin brass hardware for luxury and warmth.
