SECOND PLACE / SECONDARY BATH
Cenote Bathroom — The Cenote Bathroom
was conceived from the clients' desire to
transform a modest home office nook into a
serene, luxurious bathroom. Their objective
was to create a personal retreat within the
bedroom, a space that not only catered to their
daily functional needs but also offered a spa-
like atmosphere for relaxation. We envisioned
an immersive experience, inspired by nature,
that would evoke the tranquil beauty of a
shimmering underground pool.
Design Solutions:
• Expansive textured porcelain tiles that mimic
rock formations help enlarge the space.
• A moon-like backlit mirror adds to the open
feeling, while a pebble-shaped vessel sink
and wood storage cabinet add organic
warmth.
• Brass tapware reflects the mood lighting, and
a seamless shower with invisible infinity drain
maintains a clean, uncluttered look.
• Dimmable lighting layers wash textured
surfaces and can be individually controlled to
set different moods.
Special Features:
• The combination of massaging body jets and
rain shower elevates the space to a spa-like
experience.
• Soothing candles, wall art, luxurious green
marble accessories, and touches of greenery
add personality to this natural retreat.
• Every design detail was crafted to create a
space that revitalizes and rejuvenates.
