Kendrick — The client desired a galley kitchen with
and hidden appliances/storage, a minimalist aesthetic,
hidden storage and coffee areas.
Design Solutions:
• Sink alcove with tall cabinets
• Tall cabinet doors and panel without horizontal lines
• Island centered on sink alcove makes it less
overwhelming
• Dining table recessed in island to drop level and
break-up long cabinetry
• Single material for cohesion
Special Features:
• Cosentino Dekton countertops, recycled TFL
cabinetry, and an induction cooktop
Going for the Gold — The owners desired to update
to a contemporary
kitchen for entertaining with an
open view to the landscaped yard.
Design Solutions:
• Removed obstacles to landscaped view
• Replaced cabinets, countertops, cabinet hard-
ware, backsplash tile, and lighting
• Installed an under-counter guest refrigerator away
from owners' workspace
• Increased storage
Special Features:
• Gold paneled refrigerator/freezers, gold range hood
• Metallic mosaic tile
• Sconces and pendant lights
