Register at mortongroveparks.com | 2026 Summer Activity Guide 19 HARRER POOL PARKING RESTRICTIONS • Park east of the pool, or on the west/north sides of Harrer Park. • Do not use the Village lot (reserved for Legion/Civic Center visitors). ORIOLE AQUATIC CENTER PARKING • South lot by pool entrance • Oriole Avenue East side of Oriole Park on Church Street NO NO NO NO NO NO NO GLASS ITEMS OR BOTTLES IN POOL FACILITY NO GOGGLES THAT COVER NOSE NO POOL FLOATS OF ANY SORT MUST WEAR COAST GUARD APPROVED LIFE JACKETS NO WATER GUNS OF ANY KIND NO HARD PLASTIC, WOODEN BALLS Pool rules protect everyone. Violations may lead to suspension or membership cancellation. Children must follow the rules or leave the pool, and parents should remind them to do so. YOUR SAFETY IS OUR BUSINESS All Morton Grove Park District lifeguards are certifi ed through Ellis & Associates, a leader in the aquatics industry. In accordance with the Ellis & Associates International Pool and Waterpark Lifeguard training program, our guards must complete a minimum of 28 hours of initial training. 2026 POOL RULES Food brought from home can be enjoyed only in the concession area. Re-entry is available by getting your hand stamped before you leave. Children age 3+ must pay an admission fee. Children under 12 years old must be supervised by a guardian at least 16 years of age. • Tight fi tting rubber pants or Huggie-like Little Swimmers must be worn by infants and toddlers. • No disposable diapers permitted. • No picture taking on cameras/camera cell phones while in the pool facilities. • Proof of residency must be shown to receive resident entry rates. Children must either have a parent escort them inside with a current driver's license, or the child must show a Morton Grove Library Card to prove residency. • All swimmers must wear a swimsuit with a liner. MAKE AND TAKE CANDLE WORKSHOP April 25 - See page 6 YOUTH PICKLEBALL April 22 +April 25 - See page 30 POOL CLOSING PROCEDURES Air Temperature: Pool closes if the temperature is 64 degrees or below. Inclement Weather: Pools close for lightning, thunder, tornado sirens, or heavy rain reducing visibility. Guests must move to the locker room for 20 minutes; if weather clears, re-entry is allowed. Fecal Accidents: Solid: 30-minute wait. Liquid: Closed until chlorine levels normalize (up to 8 hours). Low Attendance: Sections may close due to low attendance or staffi ng issues. Mechanical Failure: Pools will close until the issue is resolved. ADDITIONAL INFO: Lifeguards will manage shifts and are prepared to reopen when possible.
