WD pictured on puzzle package Duane and Shirley Bartelt of Dixon, Ill., sent in this puzzle they found several years back at the Putnam Museum gift shop in Davenport, Iowa. Duane wrote: "The puzzle model is a 1950s John Deere 'B.' The picture on the back is a 1950s Allis-Chalmers WD. We realized it is my dad, Roger Bartelt. The picture was taken on our farm in Batavia, Ill., which is now Fermilab. The picture was given to Fermilab for a history project. It is on their website and somehow made it to the back of this puzzle. "Several years ago, we toured the USS Alabama BB60 museum in Mobile, Ala. That is the number of Easter eggs that were stuffed with candy and prizes at our Eggstravaganza event held March 28 at the Rumely Allis-Chalmers La Porte Heritage Center in La Porte, Ind. There were Easter crafts, basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing. Thank you to everyone who helped make the egg hunt so much fun. The 9th annual Tractor show will be held June 26-28.
