HIGHWOOD, ILLINOIS
The reimagined kitchen was designed as a
true lifestyle hub, blending professional-
level function with warmth and hospitality.
A generous island with dual-height
surfaces encourages prep, entertaining,
and ergonomic comfort, while rich
materials, layered lighting, and textural
details add depth and refinement. Art Deco
influences – seen in geometric patterns,
fluted details, and layered lighting – add a
sense of elegance and historic continuity.
Biophilic elements contribute wellness and
balance, making the space feel restorative.
The adjacent larder extends this vision with
purposeful storage and a hidden cabinet
door that serves as a delightful surprise.
Together, they create a timeless yet
modern living environment.

CUSTOM DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION
EL SEGUNDO, CALIFORNIA
This whole-home remodel celebrated both
legacy and new beginnings. The client
returned to the house she grew up in,
seeking a home for her young family while
preserving her parents' cherished memories.
The team created a seamless flow between
the kitchen, dining, and family rooms, added
storage, a dedicated coffee area, and
display spaces for artwork and pottery.
Aesthetics were updated to suit a young
family that loves mid-century modern style
and entertaining, incorporating creative,
custom solutions throughout. The result is a
character-filled, inviting home that grace-
fully bridges generations – a space where
treasured memories remain, and new ones
are made.
