15 The political arena of the world is our mission field. Capitol Ministries is working to establish discipleship, Bible study- based ministries at all levels of government in the United States and in foreign nations. We teach the Bible every week to city and county public servants, state legislators and constitutional officers, representatives, senators, governors, policy makers in the U.S., and their counterparts in foreign nations. We are achieving and increasingly expanding this bold objective by recruiting dedicated, Bible-teaching evangelists as ministry leaders. We pair them with Christian public servants who sponsor the min- istries, provide a meeting place inside the government building for weekly studies, and invite their colleagues to attend. Political leaders of all races, political parties, and religious affiliations are welcome and participate. Our ministry leaders teach the Scriptures book by book, verse by verse. ey lead weekly, in-depth, exegetical Bible studies and provide careful analysis of passages, discuss historical and cultural context, and explain original Greek and Hebrew words to clarify the author's in- tended meaning. As the Bible directs, we teach the whole purpose of God (Acts 20:27) and do not avoid unpopular topics. With a com- mitment to evangelism, ministry leaders lead public servants to the truth and disciple them to maturity in the faith. ey also pray with and for public servants, provide counseling when needed, along with friendship, and pastoral care. To illustrate our mission, we use the all-American icon, the baseball diamond. FIRST BASE signifies state government ministries to legislators and constitutional officers. Since 1996, we have planted ministries in 43 states. SECOND BASE designates discipleship ministries to national lead- ers in Washington, D.C. In 2010, we founded a ministry to members of the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2015, we expanded the out- reach and launched a ministry to members of the U.S. Senate. ese thriving ministries continue to meet weekly in Washington, D.C. In 2017, a ministry to members of the White House Cabinet was es- tablished, and in 2020, a ministry to senior White House staff was launched. In 2024, a Bible study ministry for America's sitting and for- mer governors was established with 11 sponsors. e governors meet weekly via Zoom, enabling participation from wherever they are locat- ed around the world. In early 2025, a tremendous blessing occurred with the relaunch of the White House Cabinet Members Bible Study, originally pioneered by Ralph and Danielle during President Donald Trump's first admin- istration. In 2025, Ralph Drollinger passed the torch to Dr. Randy Adams to lead the four Bible studies with leaders in the U.S. House, U.S. Senate, and White House Cabinet in Washington, D.C., as well as the Governors Bible Study. THIRD BASE represents ministries to local, regional, and federal leaders in foreign nations. So far we have established ministries in more than 85 countries. Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ at every stratum of government in every nation. Every week, public servants are studying the Bible in city halls and county cham- bers in America's neighborhoods, in state capitols, on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., and around the world.
