EXPANSION OF CAPITOL MINISTRIES
AFRICA IN 2025
In 2025, Capitol Ministries Africa significantly
expanded its reach by welcoming four new countries
into its network. Notably, leaders from five new
member countries participated in the September 2025
training conference in Lusaka, Zambia, where they
were formally recognized as Ministry Leaders (MLs)
and Local Government Ministry (LGM) leaders. e
new additions to our continental footprint include
Seychelles, Niger, Angola and South Sudan.
A strategic initiative to develop LGM teams alongside
Ministry Leaders has yielded substantial progress,
strengthening national ministries across the continent.
In Zimbabwe and Liberia, new Ministry Leaders
were appointed following a thorough process of
identification, vetting, training, and selection. e
inclusion of Seychelles and South Sudan has increased
CapMin Africa's presence to 31 countries. Regional
Directors—Obi Onwuzurumba (English-speaking
Africa) and Raymond Koffi (Francophone Africa)—
work closely with the Africa Directors to advance the
ministry's mission.
GROWTH OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT MINISTRIES
e Local Government Ministries have experienced robust
growth. e September 2025 Training Conference in
Zambia resulted in the addition of 20 new LGM leaders,
bringing the total to 47 across Africa. e conference,
attended by over 40 Ministry Leaders and LGM
representatives from 17 countries, was a resounding success.
