FALL 2013 ALUMN I 2010 Mara D'Amico, B.S.B.A. in international business. On Sept. 4, Mara gave the introduction for President Clinton for his speech in support of the Affordable Care Act in Little Rock, Ark. Mara is currently serving as the student body president at the Clinton School of Public Service while working toward her Master of Public Service degree. 2009 Katie (Dykehouse) Anson, B.S.B.A. in general business, and Drew Anson, B.S.B.A. in marketing, are expecting their first child (hopefully a future Chippewa!) on Dec. 22. Scott Konkol, B.S.B.A. in human resources. Scott recently left Groupon in Chicago and moved to Atlanta, Ga., to start a job as a product instructor at Pardot. 2008 Amanda (Dittmer) Wright, B.S.B.A. in accounting. Amanda and her husband, Brett, welcomed their daughter on Jan. 23, 2013. See a photo of Kiley Ann, dressed as a little Chippewa, on the next page. 2004 Martin Miklos, B.S.B.A. in accounting. After graduating, Martin worked for three years as a general ledger accountant for Domino's Pizza and then for three years as a budget analyst for NSK Steering Systems America before joining the Peace Corps in June 2011. He completed his Peace Corps service in July 2013 after serving in Mongolia as a community economic development volunteer where he worked with the nonprofit agency Mercy Corps providing business training, financial consultation, and English lessons to staff and clients. 18 DIGE S T 2003 Greg Boehmer, B.S.B.A. in management information systems and production operations management. Greg recently earned his Certification in Risk Management Assurance. 1997 Michael Hester, B.S.B.A. in marketing. Mike received a minor concentration in casino gaming and management. He recently took a job with Caesars Entertainment Corp. as the new senior executive casino host at their Horseshoe Casino and Hotel property in southern Indiana, located near downtown Louisville. He resides in Louisville, Ky. 1996 Brenda Meller, B.S.B.A. in marketing. Brenda was recently promoted to assistant vice president of marketing at Walsh College. Previously, she served as the director of marketing. 1994 Andreason Brown, B.S. in economics. Andreason has been promoted to chief financial officer, having joined Donors Forum as vice president of finance and administration in September 2010. He will complete a master's degree in nonprofit management at DePaul University this fall. Chuck Selinger, B.S.B.A. in marketing. Chuck and his son, Clayton, qualified for the Great Amazing Race National Championship by placing first in the Detroit qualifier. They called their team "Fire Up Chips." Dylan has a minor in business administration. After more than 20 years of working in health care information technology for organizations like the American Medical Association, Oleen Healthcare and HighPoint Solutions, Dylan founded Evergreen Healthcare Advisors in 2012 to provide a new kind of recruiting experience for his clients. The organization offers consulting and recruiting services to health plans, IT vendors and mid-sized consulting firms with a focus on providing IT and operational resources. 1985 Mark LaCross, B.S.B.A. in management. Mark was recently named the director of information technology for Vail Valley Medical Center in Vail, Colo. 1984 Blaine Pardoe, B.S.B.A. in management. Blaine earned his M.S.A. in 1994. He recently published a book titled "Business Rules — The Cynic's Guidebook to Corporate Overlords." 1982 Rafidah Mahayuddin, M.B.A. Rafidah recently visited CMU to show his children where he went to school and the city where his son was born. He said bringing his family to see Grawn Hall was great! 1976 Al Smith, B.S. in business administration with a minor in economics. Al has been named vice president and group executive – locomotives for GATX Corp. in Chicago, Ill. Al has 28 years of experience in the operation of railroad businesses with companies such as Canadian National Railways, Emons Transportation Inc. and Consolidated Rail Corp. in the areas of transportation and executive management. He has been with GATX for 14 years and has held various positions in sales and marketing as well as administration. He and his wife of 37 years, Joan, reside in Roselle, Ill.
