Texoma Community Credit Union introduced this account to the community in January, 2013. The free account allows users to select one of four charities: American Cancer Society, Hands to Hands, Humane Society of Wichita County, or the United Way. Each time the member swipes their TCCU debit card, the credit union makes a donation to the member's charity of choice. In 2013 Texoma Community Credit Union donated a combined amount of $5,000. The Humane Society of Wichita County received approximately $2,500 of that amount. The American Cancer Society was a close second followed by Hands to Hands and the North Texas Area United Way. That's some serious swiping going on in 2013. TCCU donates $.25 per qualifying TCCU debit card swipe. That means Real Giving users swiped their cards 20,000 times last year! Now that's some dedication. All donated funds will be used to support people (and pets) in the Texoma area. Thank you to our Real Giving checking account holders for making this a success by diligently swiping for your favorite charity. What do you swipe for? *Qualifying purchases are over $10 and run as a credit-based transaction. To make the charitable contribution all we ask is the member have e-statements, have a bill pay or direct deposit, and make at least 10 transactions over $10 per qualification period.
