16 January - February 2014 | www.machinerylubrication.com Corrosion inhibitor Cor-Pak Tablets offer a preventative method of protect- ing metals from corrosion. Using Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI) technology, the pills provide more than two years of multi-metal corrosion protection. Just drop a few tablets into a bag, box or package. No spraying, wiping, dipping, surface preparation or regeneration is required. Each pill will protect up to 7.1 liters (0.25 cubic feet) of enclosed space. The tablets are nitrite-, phosphate- and silicate-free and are easily inserted into packaging by manual or automated systems. The Dyna-Star HP (high pressure) model is capable of 5,000 psi (344 bar) with a maximum output of 18 cubic inches per minute, while the Dyna- Star HF (high flow) model is capable of 3,400 psi (241 bar) with a maximum out- put of 25 cubic inches per minute. Each pump incorporates helical hardened steel gears that are lubricated for life and sealed to keep out contaminants. Graco www.graco.com 800-533-9655 oil EvaPorator JM Science's new oil evaporator, the AquaCounter EV-2000L, utilizes azeotropic distillation to completely separate water from sample matrices, thus eliminating any side reactions with interfering substances. The EV-2000L is especially useful for determining moisture in difficult samples such as heavy oils, greases, etc. The oil evaporator employs a molecular sieve desiccant and has a sample volume of approx- imately 10 milliliters. The device also features an aluminum block heater with a heating range from ambient temperature to 200 degrees C. The system is comprised of three major measurement components: a filtration particle quantifier, a kinematic viscom- eter and an infrared spectrometer. No solvent usage is required, and all data is logged and tracked with an easy-to- use operating system. The Q5800 also comes with a custom backpack that allows the device and all accessories to be easily transported. Spectro Inc. www.spectroinc.com 978-486-0123 PRODUCT NEwS
