He served as director of the college's
J.M. Tull School of Accounting for nine
years, and under his leadership, Tull
undergraduate and graduate programs
consistently ranked in the top 10 among
public universities. One of the most
productive researchers in his field,
Dean Ayers is also the recipient of 11
teaching awards.
