Concierge Ser vice Per sonalizes Healthy Experiences SHORTCUTS BUSINESS I n Monterey County, visitors and residents will find no shortage of accomplished practitioners offering unique spa, nutrition and fitness services. But exploring alternatives and choosing professionals can be challenging, particularly for those unfamiliar with the area. That's where VIPWELLFIT comes in. Master Pilates trainer, paramed- ical esthetician and cer tified holistic nutritionist Tracy Healey launched the wellness concierge service this spring together with friend and busi- ness par tner Ana Poirier, a yoga teacher and energy worker. They saw an oppor tunity to capitalize on their business and service expe- rience, creating a one-stop shop for individu- als looking to book appointments with rep- utable local providers. The pair works closely with area inns and home rental services, offering a resource for employees as they assist customers. Clients can also book directly on the VIPWELLFIT website, where available services include spa, massage, yoga, Pilates and personal training sessions, plus nutrition consultations and cus- tomized detox guidance. The company arranges guided hikes to the likes of Point Lobos and backcountry Big Sur, and will soon debut packages catering to bridal par ties, golf enthusiasts, couples and others. Healey and Poirier also work with customers to provide personalized experiences: think champagne and flowers waiting in the massage room, or fresh-pressed juices delivered to the vacation rental. "Many people come here to play, or they come here for events. But there are also peo- ple who want to implement that healing or wellness component, so that they don't feel like they need a vacation from their vacation," says Poirier. "We're serving those people, too." The business brings practitioners to locals' doorsteps, as well. "People work all day and maybe can't make it to class, but now they can have a yoga instructor come to their house when it's convenient," says Healey. "We're putting wellness at people's fingertips, and allowing them to create their own schedules."
