Oatmeal Cookie Butter KNOWN FOR HIS COMPANY'S PASTA SAUCES AND HOT SAUCES, Dave Hirschkop struck out in a new direction earlier this year when he introduced Dave's Gourmet's Oatmeal Cookie Butter. Hirschkop says the product category interested him, and he wanted to create an all-natural cookie butter that appealed specifically to the U.S. "There are several flavors that seemed right, but the first was oatmeal cookie," he explains. "Oatmeal is a healthy, delicious breakfast that many Americans enjoy, and oatmeal cookies are a treat that is very popular." The spread is made with wholesome, all-natural ingredients and can be slathered on toast, apple slices, cupcakes, and many other foods. The oatmeal cookie butter is the first of three planned cookie butters from Dave's Gourmet; the others—including another American-inspired variety, apple pie—are slated to become available before the end of the year.
