Despite a long and challenging production process, Claros says the resulting Millionaire Shortbread bar speaks for itself. "With this product I was trying to achieve complex flavors and textures," she explains. "Sweet, salty, creamy, chewy, and crunchy." No stranger to sofi gold, Claros won the Outstanding Confection award last year with her Chocolate Tiffin with biscuits, roasted almonds, and cherries, but was especially happy to win this year in the cookie category. "We push the boundaries to bring unique and complex products to the market," she says. "Because this product was challenging in so many aspects, we are very happy to have the effort appreciated."
