our journey
Building the Past. Whether renovation
or reconstruction, work never ceases
on an institution's campus. Workers
and a supervisor (far right) pause for
a photograph during foundation work
on John T. Henderson Memorial Hall.
Built to replace the Administration
Building, which had burned in late
1916, Henderson Hall was constructed
for $100,000 and completed 95
years ago, just in time for the 1919-20
Academic Year. (Photo courtesy of C-N
