The Magic Hour As the days become longer and
the nights shorter, that magic hour between sunlight and darkness
grows ever more important. The breeze drops, the river's surface turns
to glass, and the insects—the mayflies and the caddis—rise from the
depths to tempt trout searching for the day's final meal. It's the perfect
time to be on the water.
