140 140 Day 1 Arrive San Francisco (D) Welcome to the USA! On arrival at San Francisco International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Boasting many icons of the American West, San Francisco is a relaxed and picturesque city located on famous San Francisco Bay. This evening join your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a welcome dinner. Three Night Stay: Marriott Marquis Day 2 San Francisco Sightseeing (FB) Take in amazing views of the most recognised symbol of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge. Discover the colour, stories and charm of the historic Victorian sector Haight-Ashbury, then visit one of the most photographed locations in San Francisco, the famous Painted Ladies. After a visit to Union Square we visit the legendary Alcatraz prison where you will learn incredible stories of its notorious inmates and their dating escapes. The day is yours to do as you wish. Board the Coast Starlight train that follows the beautiful California coastline. Late night arrival into Los Angeles where we're picked up and transferred to your hotel. Three Night Stay: The Beverly Hilton Day 5 Los Angeles Sightseeing (FB,D) Los Angeles is a sprawling city known for its Hollywood fame and offers never ending opportunities for exploration. Make our way to Santa Monica beach and pier, and wander the famous Venice Beach. Journey downtown and visit the Grammy Museum, then walk along Hollywood Boulevard and see the stars in the Walk of Fame. Take a tour of the Dolby Theatre, the home of the Oscars and see the elaborate Grauman's Chinese Theatre. No trip to LA is complete without viewing the Hollywood sign. Finish the day with a drive down the famous Sunset Strip and Rodeo Drive. Day 6 Los Angeles (FB) Today is free for you to explore the "City of Angels". With unending opportunities you won't find it hard to make the most of your time here. The bright lights and big city of Las Vegas loom out like an oasis. Las Vegas is the city of lights where casinos, lavish hotels and non-stop entertainment thrive. You're Invited: This evening we witness the spectacular Cirque du Soleil. See death defying acrobatics mixed with flamboyant costumes and an entertaining storyline. Three Night Stay: Paris Las Vegas Day 8 Hoover Dam – Grand Canyon West (FB,L,D) Witness two spectacular phenomena today with the engineering marvel of the Hoover Dam and the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon. Take in the spectacular views of the enormous dam backed by Lake Mead, then continue to the Grand Canyon West Rim. What better way to witness this miracle of nature than on the Skywalk; a glass walkway overlooking the Canyon. You will then have time to spend as you wish. Two Night Stay: Hyatt Place River North Day 11 Chicago Sightseeing HD (FB,HD) Start out with magnificent views of the "Windy City" from the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, the Sky Deck.
