Over 600,000 children experience foster care in the United States each year. CASA for Children
is the only nationwide network providing one-on-one advocacy for these vulnerable children.
CASA volunteers are appointed by judges to advocate for abused and neglected children, to
make sure they don't get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system. Volunteers
stay with each case until it is closed and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home.
Our volunteers currently only reach one third of these
children, leaving 400,000 children in urgent need.
