Introducing the new Pizza Plus from Alfresco
Alfresco Open Air Culinary Systems has announced the next
step in outdoor kitchens with their new Pizza Plus Product. The
focus of this next generation pizza oven is the "plus"; the features
that allow this appliance to cook, bake, roast to perfection in an
outdoor environment.
"We wanted to take all the best features of the finest commercial
pizza ovens in the world, and combine those into one, user- and
consumer-friendly appliance for home, and more specifically,
backyard use," says Dale Seiden, Alfresco's vice president and
member of the product design team. "We looked way beyond the
pizza oven to ensure that anything you could cook inside, could
be done outside at a standard to exceed expectations of the
home chef."
While the world's top commercial pizza ovens take up to four
hours to preheat, the Alfresco Pizza Plus fully preheats in just 15
minutes. Thanks to features like its unique, state-of-the-art infrared
heating technology below the hearth, its ceramic log tube burner
and ceramic interior, the Pizza Plus can take a Neapolitan pizza
from preheat to plate in just 18 minutes, providing the same
cooking results as commercial units. With 6" openings,
competitive pizza ovens can only manage flat food dishes, but
Alfresco's 8 ½" high opening allows for roasts, chickens, and any
other dishes that require more space in the oven cavity.
Other innovative features include:
• Fireplace-like gas log accelerates preheat time as it distributes
heat up to the ceramic ceiling slab for intense top down heat
