Beach. Mike's son, M.J., three- time National Special Olympic Golf Champion, was nominated for another Hall of Fame. Mike continues to support his son in both National and World Games, held in places such as Ireland, China and Greece. Mike and M.J. have written fi ve successful golf books together. 1960 Donald Case, B.S. in commerce. Don was in the 1964 Cuban Missile Crisis and wore the Combat Unit Commander Tabs (Nike Herc Nukes). He retired from the army with 36 years of service. Don served as an adjunct professor teaching accounting for Global Campus from 1974 to 2014. Last year he was appointed Commanding Offi cer of the Naval Sea Cadet Corps (USNSCC) - Lake Michigan Division. 1950 Clarence Tuma, B.S. in physical education. Clarence released his memoir, "The One-Pound Pork Chop - A Recipe for Life, Love, Family & the American Dream," this spring. His book includes everything from growing up as one of nine children in Detroit to serving in the Army during World War II, attending and graduating from CMU, and owning a highly regarded restaurant – The Ember's in Mount Pleasant.
