Funded by a $1.5 million commitment from Barry and Antoinette Davis, the entrepreneur-in-residence post will be held by Brad Hancock, direc- tor of the Neeley Entrepreneur- ship Center. n A gift from alum Ken Goodman will launch the new Good- man Leadership Center at the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University in New York. The center will sup- port academic research, including the Good- man Professorship. It also will be used to help develop a certificate pro- gram in leadership and send Whitman students to leader- ship conferences. OTHER NEWS n Grenoble Ecole de Management in France has become an affiliate school and mem- ber of the Microeconom- ics of Competitiveness network, a course devel- oped by Harvard Busi- ness School's Michael E. Porter.
