The Centrals are the place to get new ideas and information about a specific industry niche. Open to all IBS registrants, the Centrals are the hubs for demonstrations and hands-on workshops. In addition to meeting and network- ing with others in a relaxed setting, the Centrals feature some of the industry's top professionals who are passionate about their areas of expertise. The Centrals for the 2016 IBS are: 55-plus Housing; Custom Building; Design Studio; Multi-family; Remodelers; and Sales. Highlights There also are plenty of opportunities for networking at the 2016 IBS, and even having fun. Visitors will have a blast at exclusive IBS events inside and out of the convention center. These events include Jay Leno headlining the opening ceremonies, the House Party at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas and the Spike Concert featuring Daryl Hall and John Oates. A scheduled highlight is the presidential candidates forum. Each presidential contender who accepts the invitation will appear separately onstage to participate in a discussion with National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) moderators and will answer questions from members of the audience. Looking ahead, a future highlight for those in the storm and security protection industry is the return of the International Builders' Show to the heart of storm mitigation and prevention country: In 2017, IBS moves back to Orlando, FL, January 10 to January 12.
