Remembering Dr. Baumgardner.
On August 13, the opening
of the new academic year,
the University lost a mentor,
colleague, friend and its longest
serving faculty member in Carson-
Newman history with the passing
of Dr. James "Jim" Baumgardner.
During its fall convocation,
the University reserved a seat
among its faculty in his memory.
