SNAG Presentation of Student Work Friday May 25, 1:30 PM Kierland Grand Ballroom 2/3 Credits: Crista Reid, Hooked. 2012, California College of the Arts Digital Presentation: Metamorphic Over time, extreme heat, pressure and stress promote dramatic changes in structure and composition. The inevitable result: a concentrated, resilient new entity. The 2012 SNAG Presentation of Student Work will digitally exhibit the work of innovative students immersed in this transformative process. An international showcase of the best student work from any degree, diploma or certificate-granting institution, promoting the next generation of metals and jewelry artists. A full range of metals and jewelry work, including both traditional and non-traditional approaches will be represented. Keep your eyes on these people...they are just getting warmed up! Coordinated and Presented By: Michael Parrett and Molly Douglass Michael's and Molly's graduate academic careers overlapped for two semesters at SIUE where camaraderie quickly developed. Over the next several years their careers and social lives serendipitously crossed paths several times. Molly moved to St. Louis in 2010 just as Michael was getting his studio up and running. In addition to their own work, they also run Firescale Studio in the heart of downtown St. Louis, Missouri. 24
