The Ekaluk River is fed by Ferguson Lake, and tens of thousands of huge, chrome-colored Arctic Char enter its
narrows to spawn. The 12 hours of light per day provide non-stop action; the occasional nap on a soft bed of tundra
grass is required, but make sure someone is on "bear patrol." Each year only a few fly anglers are daring enough to
make the long trip for this very short season. Is it worth it? Hell yes!
