Commonly misunderstood and widely feared, sharks are remarkable creatures
and incredibly important for the preservation and protection of coral reefs.
These marine hunters are often the 'apex', or top predators, of this ecosystem
and without them the number of herbivorous fish declines which can cause
algae to become overgrown and suffocate the reef.
