The second contemporary
exhibit at The Square is Montana
Expressions: Recent Works of
Charles Fulcher. Find Fulcher's
large-format, colorful oils painted
with classic western imagery in the
Rothschiller Gallery. Fulcher is a lo-
cal artist with national recognition
and in 2016 won the Ralph "Tuffy"
Berg Memorial Award at the C.M.
Russell Art Auction. That award was
for "Best aspiring new artist."
The third Art Week display
Scott describes is the 20th Annual
Art Auction Exhibition in the Wylder,
Mungus-Volk and Dufresne-Cobb
Galleries. Though the Paris Gib-
son Square Museum of Art hosts
its auction April 8, 2017, they are
offering a 'Buy It Now' option in
advance as well as proxy bidding
during the live event. Western Art
Week visitors will be able to view
and pre-purchase from this year's
art selection, which was juried in by
Stephen Glueckert and Steve Selt-
zer. Scott says the Art Auction is the
primary fundraiser for The Square.
