Contained screener
DA Vario contained screener has flexible liner with integral
glove that allows you to examine screen without contacting
product or allowing dust to escape. Liner also lets you replace
screen basket and dosing screw under containment. As you
remove drive unit lengthwise with screen cylinder, screener's
extraction device supports and guides them into tubular plas-
tic film. You can then remove old screen while it's inside plas-
tic liner and install new screen while maintaining contain-
ment. Dosing screw exchanges in similar manner.

Powder, capsule conveyor
Low-rate vacuum conveyor delivers pharmaceutical powders to
capsule filling machines, tablet presses, or packaging machines.
Unit conveys as much as 1,200 to 1,500 pounds of material per
hour depending on material. It can also transfer empty capsules
without damaging or separating them. GMP-compliant conveyor
meets FDA and USDA standards.

series cartridge dust
collectors decrease number of filters by as much as 40 percent
compared to conventional cartridge collectors, reducing filter
replacement costs. Compact unit also conserves floor space
and decreases initial cost. Its "dropout zone" pre-separates
large dust particles, reduces pressure drop, and minimizes fil-
ter abrasion. MaxPulse cleaning system uses double-diverging
pulse nozzle that shapes air to match shape of filter, deliver-
ing 27 percent more energy to media to ensure effective
cleaning. "Triagonal" cartridges position more filter media at
bottom than round cartridges and thus direct more dust
toward collection hopper. Asymmetrical yokes ensure car-
tridges are sealed and aligned properly for cleaning. Ultra-
Web nanofiber media uses layer of fibers 0.2 to 0.3 micron
in diameter to surface-capture contaminants smaller than 1
micron.
