A proprietary Jenn-Air ™ app takes control away from the console, and integration with other devices enhances a customer's support of their smart homes. The addition of the app* puts control of both the Jenn-Air ® Culinary Center and the V2 ™ vertical dual-fan convection system into the palms of their hands and outside the kitchen. Your customers can use the Remote Start feature to set and start the oven from any location, monitor the progress of the cooking cycle, adjust the cook time and temperature, and even change the cooking cycle entirely. NOW CONTROLLED WITH THE POWER OF VOICE Technological advancements in areas like voice control allow Jenn-Air ® connected wall ovens to work with Alexa, Amazon's cloud-based voice service, enabling hands-free voice control. Customers may ask Alexa to perform oven tasks like preheating or setting the kitchen timer. Jenn-Air ® connected wall ovens work with Amazon Alexa (on Amazon Echo, Echo Tap, and Echo Dot devices). To use this skill, the wall oven must be connected to a local WiFi network. WORKS WITH NEST All Jenn-Air ® connected wall ovens now work with Nest via the Jenn-Air ™ app. Jenn-Air ® wall ovens were the first ovens available in the United States to integrate with the Nest Learning Thermostat. Using the Jenn-Air ™ app, customers may set the Nest thermostat to react to the oven's rising temperature and decrease climate settings by a set number of degrees, meaning they and their guests won't have to feel the heat while entertaining. Outside the kitchen, Nest can detect when they're not at home. And should the oven ever be left on, the Jenn-Air ™ app can be enabled to send an alert, allowing the homeowner to turn off the oven remotely.
