OceanQuest, we were awoken at 5:45 am with a knock on
the door and a cheery "it's time to dive!" While we may
not have shared the crew's enthusiasm as we stepped out

us awake. Armed with the knowledge of the Wall of Burk-
ie we had gleaned the day before, my dive buddy and I
GHFLGHGWRHPEDUNRQRXUƬUVWVRORGLYH,WFDQVHHPLQ-
timidating to go without a guide, but it actually makes
for an enriched experience; when you're not focused on
watching and following the guide, you see a lot more.
