Meet the Professional
Meet Travis Helmey, a 5 year veteran of the
Doctor Lawn Landscape Management team
and father of two adorable children.
Although Travis wears many hats at Doctor
Lawn, his main focus is as the company's
arborist. From large Cottonwood removals
to regular pruning of smaller trees and
shrubs, Travis can be found around Great
Falls and Northwestern Montana doing what
he loves. His passion for working with trees
started at a very young age cutting wood
with his dad every season in
preparation for winter. When
his father was hired at a tree
care company in Billings,
Travis was able to help. "My
career in the tree industry
started with my father when I
was 14 working for free,
helping do clean-up work."
Travis recalls. "Once I got my
driver's license, I was ocially
hired and started out driving
the company's big dump
truck."
Travis moved to Great Falls
in 2012 and has been keeping
Doctor Lawn customers happy
ever since. "I love what I do
and it's extremely rewarding
to be able to go a property I
have worked on and see the
nal result. I'm proud to say I
did that."
Doctor Lawn's customers
have also taken note of Travis'
knowledge of trees and
incredible customer service.
It is not uncommon to receive
multiple calls and notes from
customers each month,
commending Travis and the
work he has provided.
