The RumbleBee will boost straight on its own. Having zero incidence (no up el- evator), it will still transition and glide well (the CG must be correct). Some say auto- elevators or slight incidence is required on BGs, but as long as the stabilizer is lower than the wing, turbulence off the wing will provide some push down on the stabilizer (ref. G. Harry Stine). I have never seen a death dive with this glider. Using rudder- only control makes this bird easy to fly. El- evator control is not really necessary. There is a parts list for the RumbleBee on page 42. Radios Many small glider fliers are using the AR6410 "brick" receiver which is tiny and includes two servos on one integrat- ed board, but costs $60. A 2.4Ghz DSM2 transmitter costs about $60. You can use one, but I have a radio solution that is a quarter of that cost. The Turnigy 5X radio system is $25, and includes a receiver. The compact transmitter is full power (two- mile range). The receiver board is to be re- moved from the case and joined with a tiny linear servo. This takes some fine soldering skills and proper tools, but yields a small, light solution.
