I enjoy working out, and I go to the gym several times a week. Getting fit or staying fit is usually the top resolution on people's list for the New Year. Perhaps it's on yours. e number two or three resolution usually has to do with finances. at's no surprise since health and finances are two areas that greatly affect our quality of life. So, while you are thinking about working out your muscles and getting stronger this New Year, also consider ways you can get stronger financially by finding ways to prepare yourself for the future you want to have. Growing in knowledge is essential. You need to know where you are financially by performing a checkup. Here's where you take an honest look at your emergency savings, debt load, spending habits and retirement planning. During this year, Redstone Federal Credit Union encourages you to be aware of your personal financial situation and look to us as a resource. If there are areas that need shoring up, we can help. If you are feeling overwhelmed and need to know where to start, let us know. Like getting in shape, this financial fitness journey is not a sprint, but a marathon. And just like weightlifters, we all need spotters from time to time. Ask, and we will be yours. p.4 | Life at The Range p.7 | Free Tax Preparation p.11 | Apply Now for a Redstone Scholarship p.12 | Acts of Brightness in Photos Send your comment s, suggestions or questions to: ASPIRE@REDFCU.ORG facebook.com/RedstoneFCU twitter.com/RedstoneFCU Editor: Patricia Dedrick Lloyd TABLE OF CONTENTS 12 4 2 | r e d f c u.o r g Must be eligible for membership and open a share savings account to obtain any product or service.
