POLYPROPYLENE GREEN Monofilament Fluorescent Green
Description: Propylglo Green™ is a monofilament, nonabsorbable,
sterile surgical suture composed of a strand of polypropylene, a
synthetic linear Polyolefin. Propylglo Green™ sutures are dyed
fluorescent green.
Indication: Propylglo Green™ is indicated for use in animals only in
general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
Features:
• Fluorescent under ultraviolet light for easy visualization of suture
• Monofilament facilitates for smooth passage through tissue
• Synthetic for minimal tissue reaction
• Nonabsorbable: permanent tensile strength retention in tissue
Warning: Sutures should not be used if package is opened or
damaged or if the expiration date has been exceeded. Discard open
unused suture. Do not resterilize; resterilization may alter the physical
properties of this suture, which will result in an adverse patient reaction.
