SPEED QUEEN INTRODUCES REDESIGNED TOP LOAD DIGITAL CONTROL MODEL WILL GET INDUSTRY- LEADING 7-YEAR WARRANTY Speed Queen, a leader in commercial quality laundry equipment for the home, unveiled its next generation top load washer. The upgraded washer is available at authorized indepen- dent retailers. "Our previous top load design was a workhorse and truly stood the test of time," said Jay McDonald, vice president of North American home laundry sales. "However, I can say without reservation that our 2018 redesign takes top load washer performance to the next level. Significant resources were put into this machine and it delivers exceptional results." At the center of those results is improved wash quality that comes via a unique action that rotates both the basket and the full-size agitator together. A series of long and short strokes create multi-directional water motion, which enhances the cleaning results, while being gentle on clothes. The washer's new inverter drive system eliminates the need for a transmission and reduces noise significantly, while increasing the extract speed to 820 RPM to remove more moisture from loads and reduce drying times.
